Hollywood Street Characters – Photographing the lookalikes of movie characters

With his Hollywood Street Characters series, the Danish photographer Ken Hermann looks at the phenomenon of the lookalikes of movie characters, capturing the men and women who dress up as Superman, Marilyn Monroe, Chewbacca, Thor or Darth Vader, to propose a photo to the tourists in exchange of a few dollars. A beautiful series of portraits of these characters that are frequently seen on Hollywood Boulevard or in the streets of Los Angeles.
