Amazing Rice Fields of Japan
If your childhood was anything like mine, your parents and teachers
spent a lot of time working with you not only on your ABC’s, but on some
really nifty arts and craft projects as well. I remember dying dried
macaroni and gluing it to paper in patterns or stringing it together to
make necklaces and holiday decorations. We used to smear peanut butter
on pinecones to make bird feeders. There were, literally, dozens of ways
to turn things we would normally eat into crafty creations.
