The Mule Skinner Antiques

I opened Muleskinner in 1973 in Clarence, N.Y. We remained there for 27 years until moving to Williamsville, N.Y. Our move to the more upscale business district of Main St, Williamsville has proved to be the right move. The other merchants as well as the local public, could not have been more welcoming.

We specialize in 18th, 19th, and 20th century American antiques, including: Regional Paintings, Folk Art, Pottery, Weathervanes, Decoys, Quilts, Hooked Rugs, Furniture in original finish, and a whole host of other decorative and very unique items. We carry rare, unusual, and interesting pieces of Americana that you are not likely to find in many other antique shops. A trip to our store will be a very enjoyable and lasting experience.

Some

Here are two large Folk Art carvings of our two most famous ex-presidents. They are George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. They are large pine, naïve folk art carvings done some time in the 20th century. George stands 17 ½” tall and Abe is 16 ½” tall. Great faces with Great patina! What a look! We are selling them separately or together.

Rare early Velocipede Baby Carriage. We have never had one of these before so it was very exciting to find this one. When the carriage is pushed in either direction the original full bodied horse hide covered horse rocks up and down. The woman that we bought this from bought it over 45 years ago while driving down Delaware Avenue in Buffalo. It was in the window of a very exclusive children's clothing shop that was going out of business. She stopped and asked if they would sell it to her and lucky for her they said yes. She has owned it all this time. It measures a large 62” long from horse hoof to back handle.. You just don't see these offered for sale very often

The best large architectural handmade wooden doll house we have had in many years! Paint and construction are all original with a great old patina. Note the architectural details from the front porch to the top peak of the roof. Doors and window all open the way they should. There is one large door on the back of the house to allow access for play. Great colors and great scale of 38” x 22” x 40” to the top of the chimney.

A great old full size wooden wagon, circa 1910-20. The paint is original and the overall patina is great! Note the decorative cutouts on the wheels. All hubcaps are still intact, and although it is worn, the wheels still have the original rubber. It is still good and sturdy too.

We hope you enjoy our selection of Antique Americana
