Urban Jobe’s Mixed Modern Addition

The thing about modern design is, it looks like a lot of different things. A truly stupendously wildly varied different many things. We love coming across homes that seem to embody two distinct characteristics about modernism so you can see how easy the line between styles blends and blurs. This is a modern addition to an existing home, the Shepherd Addition, by Urban Jobe, based in Austin.
There’s no written info about this project or the firm, really, but one can infer its wonderfulness. From the white-wood walls that are slightly country-ish but also modern because they are so sleek and uniform. The mix of modern and natural elements and furniture. The fun art. Love the color palette and the whole feel of this space.
“Urban Jobe Architecture is a full service architecture firm, with a focus on residential projects. Your home should be amazing…and the process to discover and create it should be a journey worth taking. Getting there is half the fun.” More photos on the Urban Jobe website. What do you think about this mix of styles?
