To top it all off, artist Mark Grambau has created a series of impressive posters focused around the heroes and villains of the Marvel and DC comics universes. You can check them out below, and if you really like them, you can even visit the shop on his site (http://www.markgrambau.com/products) and order prints to display them in your home or office.
Batman
Like how Batman blends into the background except for the symbol on his chest.
Dr. Strange
For those not familiar with Dr. Strange, he is (or at least was the last time I checked) the Sorcerer Supreme in the Marvel Universe.
Green Lantern
It’s going to be interesting to see how Ryan Reynolds does as Hal Jordan in this years Green Lantern movie launch.
Mr. Freeze
One of the classic Batman villains, I think it’s pretty obvious what his gimmick is.
Shazam
Originally billed as Captain Marvel by DC Comics, when Marvel Comics copyrighted the name Captain Marvel during a time that DC had let it lapse, they instead had to promote him as Shazam! instead.
Spider-Man
Everybody knows Spider-Man, but it’s going to be interesting to see how next year’s reboot of the franchise goes.
Superman
Smallville is coming to an end, but next year we’ll get a new Superman movie, though there’s still some displeasure that there’s going to be a Brit (Henry Cavill) donning the red and blue. Superman is an alien and can be played by somebody that’s not American as far as I’m concerned.
The Flash
So far as I know there’s no plans on a Flash movie, but if DC tries to follow after Marvel and do a big team-up movie of the Justice League, I wouldn’t be surprised if he made an appearance on there.
The Hulk
For the upcoming Avengers movie he’s been re-cast with Mark Ruffalo since Edward Norton couldn’t come to an agreement with the movie studio, but it will be interesting to see if he’s the hero or the villain in the movie, as the Hulk has been both when dealing with the Avengers.
The X-Men
The upcoming pseudo reboot of the franchise, X-Men: First Class could lead to a new trilogy that isn’t beholden to the previous movies or too much to the comics.
Venom
I think it’s fair to assume that with the decision to reboot the Spider-Man franchise instead of continue forward from the previous movies that any chance of seeing a rumored Venom movie are slim at best.
Wolverine
It will be interesting to see if down the line with the X-Men franchise they ever make the decision to bring Wolverine back into it and if they decide to re-cast Hugh Jackman.
